Chama River Brewing Co., Albuquerque, NM

Chama River Brewing Co. is another place we picked out of the proverbial hat.  Apparently that is sometimes a good way to make choices, because this brewpub turned out to be another gem.

We arrived a few minutes after they opened, in time for an early lunch.  Since they were not busy, our server Kelsi had time to talk to us, which was a delightful experience.

As is our habit when visiting a new place we ordered samplers.  This one is the year ‘round beers; this one is their seasonals.  Is it any surprise that we enjoyed all of the beers?

We ordered two different dishes for lunch (pictured in the photo album) which we shared.  This photo is the Sirloin Cobb Salad and this one is Shaved Prime Rib sandwich. Both were delicious.

Both the exterior and interior of the brewery are beautiful and well maintained.  They have a patio in front, as well as a bar and several dining areas.

The decor is elegant for a brewpub, and the seating is very comfortable.  They even have a nice foyer (see photo below).

One of the interesting bits of information we got from Kelsi is that Chama River Brewing is owned by the same people who own the Blue Corn Cafe in Santa Fe.

This is definitely a place we will be visiting again.
