Orlando Brewing Company, Orlando, FL

Orlando Brewing Company Entrance

On our way to boarding a cruise ship, we chose to stay in Orlando, as it is a short drive from there to Tampa, where the ship would be docked.  And we wanted to try Orlando Brewing Company.  We arrived in time to take their brewery tour, which was interesting, as expected.

It turns out that they just have a bar, with no license to sell food.  So after the tour we went to dinner and came back to try their sampler.  Please note that they do have a food truck that sells food in their parking lot.

It is good that we were not feeling up to drinking a lot of beer, because it would have been difficult to choose just one.  All the beers we tried (10 of them) were excellent.

While we were enjoying our sampler we also got to talking with a couple of local ladies who had been playing darts.  While we were talking with them, our tour guide, Gene, who is one of the brewers, came over and joined in the conversation.  It was altogether a pleasant evening, and their beer is definitely worth drinking.
